divx movie with ogg to vcd

most divx movies i've obtained can be coverted to vcd compliant mpg. i have that, according to wmp's properties is using ogg splitter filter, which i ssume is ogg vorbis in the audio. i've failed trying to convert using tmpgenc. what would the best route be to make this happen, if possible? should i get a program that can demux it (which one?) and then remux to mpg with tmpgenc?
thanks for any suggestions in advance.

    try this:

    Open virtualdub
    Load the video

Goto Video > Direct Stream copy
    Goto audio > NO AUDIO

Goto file > save as avi and save the file.

You will only save the video

You can then save the audio through Virtualdub (But I don't know if it will work with ogg)

Or you can use a program to strip the ogg audio and convert it to wav or something.

Then you can use TMPGENC to convert the video to VCD and join the audio once you have converted the audio to wav/mp1 (MPEG stream)

vdub doesn't work with ogg - it's easy to mux (oggmux) and cut (oggcut) but it seems to be hard to demux (oggdemux ?)

You have to use graphedit, for demuxing.

I have posted an ogg->avi(mp3) graph here

Talk about the AVI file container, and the Divx/Xvid codecs that are most commonly found in AVI files
