    converting divx to dvd qualty

Hi there, just a quick question, I have downloaded lots of divx of the net and was wondering if I could use virtual dub to extarct the wav and avi then use tmpeg to encode as a dvd and use my pioneer a04 to burn them.

The other question is when I try this on johnq divx the wav I extracted keeps spitting and popping evey few seconds any ideas??????

The oringinal divx has an unknown id tag under vdub and it starting to do my head in, I have searched the fourm and come to the conclusion that the divx has ac3 audio, but evey time i extract the audio no good.

The settins I use are direct stream copy, when I use Full processing mode I get and error message "The requested audio compression is compatible with the input file " I have tried all of the avalible compression tags but to no avail.

    Some help please

for your 1st q : yes you can, just use nandub.
and for your 2nd q : if the sound is indeed ac3 then only nandub will be able to extract it. and then with azid/lame you could make it a wav or mp3 file
