Well this is a brain fart kinda thing. I used cladXP to rip a DVD to HD but I forgot to rip the .ifo files as well...the ones needed so that I can convert the entire movie at once. Now I will have to do it in parts. Can they be joined without losing quality and audio sync...kinda bites!!!???
Forgot to copy IFO to disk

I can think of any number of programs, that can convert a chain of vobfiles as one, without using the ifo file.
GKnot(DVD2AVI really) any version of flask(except 0.6) and many others.
Now if you movie contains multiple angles, then you are in trouble.Last edited by khp; 1 Oct 2002, 07:46 AM.Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

Well I am going to do any subtitle work on this movie. Plus I know it was not a multi-angle flick. I am sure I can make it work...just that I am looking for some pointers from those who have been there before. Thanx!!

By opening the *_1.vob file.
Flask will automatically append the rest.
Except if you are using flask0.6, in that case you need the thunder.mism plugin or the subtitles fix.Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.
