File format? Avi or DivX

Hi!
I've encoded some videos in Gordian Knot and used the Divx Pro v5.0.2 codec and I'm wondering why I get an .avi file and not a .divx file?
When I rename it, it works fine as a DivX file. I'm abit confused about this...

There is nothing alarming there. DivX files are basically AVI files. AVI files, for your information, are container formats and can be compressed with various different codecs, including DivX.
