I have a dp 450 and have started to re encode to divx 5.02 as well. most have worked out ok but I have some files that go out of audio sync. I have tried to recompress from extracted wav with vdub with no success (vbr to cbr), although this seems to work most times. I have tried extracting mp3 with nanbub and then reencoding video only with vdub and then using nandub to to make the final file but this just crashed nandub(any ideas anybody?). I don`t know what to try next but it would be great if the 450 would support 3.11 in the future. I shall watch the forum closley. Is it better to re encode to xvid than divx 5.02?

      Stop everything......regarding divx 3.11 to divx 4 or 5.

I have some info from a guy called -h

he is working on a conversion tool that DOES NOT reencode the movie, and you will have no Quality loss at all.

I will keep you all informed on his progress, he is almost finished, and ready for beta testing......

I will keep you informed - if you can´t wait give me a PM, an I will give you some info - when I have more to let you know about the project

      Regards
