    Why just in virtualdub?

Just a doubt, why when I try to change the framerate of a fake avi (d2v=>vfapi conv) in any program from 29.970 to 23.976 all works fine but when try this in virtualdub this cause audio synch problems?

Performing IVTC is a slower, but more proper way of doing what you tried to do....

In short, IVTC is used to convert an originally-FILM NTSC material from 29.97fps back to its original 23.97fps. In addition, the process removes duplicate frames created during telecining (23.97fps -> 29.97fps).
