ac3 ripping ?? plz help

I have a film with AC3(5 channel audio). I want to be able to rip the AC3 from the avi film to a .wav file then convert it to .mp2 so i can re-encode the film with tmpgenc. Ive tryed nandub to rip the ac3 to wav but when i try to use besweet i get a load of errors. Are there any other programs that will let me rip the ac3 file?

NanDub should have no problem extracting the .ac3 track from the .avi
Maybe you could try a VDub mod that supports .ac3?
Note that when you open file in NanDub and select Save WAV...,the outputted file will be .ac3(Rename extension)

You can't do that. Nandub is capable of extracting the AC3 file out of an existing AVI, but should never be used to convert the said format to WAV. BeSweet is capable of converting AC3 files to WAV. Hence:
1. Extract AC3 file with nandub
2. Input AC3 file into BeSweet and convert to WAV
3. Input WAV into TMPGEnc and you're set to go
