converting wav from 29.970 fps to 25 fps

does anyone know how to convert a wav file from 29.970 fps to 25 fps?

i have toy story in swedish (25) and english (29), the swedish version is wonderful but i want to play the english soundfile...

i play the movie, turn sound off, and play the wav in winamp, but the wav runs faster than the vid.

    anyone?

    greetz, robin

    besweetgui has an option

c.f. in the lower left square underneath HYBRIDGAIN:

the image is part of (a temporary) ogg guide, but you could use wave/mp3 as input as well and have it converted to mp2 if you like:

(If I understand correctly, you have a DivX-compressed .AVI which includes a Swedish audiostream and a separate .WAV audio file in English)

As an alternative to UncasMS' suggestion, you could do the following:

      1) Load the .AVI into VirtualDub
      2) Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copy"
      3) From under the "Audio" drodpown menu, select "WAV audio" - and load your English audio file
      4) Under the "Video" dropdown menu, click on "Framerate" - and select "Match video and audio durations"
      5) Save with a new filename

        thanx !

the besweet took a long while to dec/enc - enc/dec and the sound sounded pretty fast... so that didn't do the trick...

virtual dub did a nice job in decreasing the sound but still it doesn't quite get in tune with the vid...

i will try futher till i get it right tho!

Load the newly created file into VirtualDub or NanDub.
Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy".
From the "Audio" dropdown menu, select "Interleaving"
Under "Audio skew correction", set an appropriate number of milleseconds (positive or negative) in the box labelled "Delay audio track by"
          Save with a new filename
