    4:1 compression

    Does anyone know of a codec that is capable of 4:1 compression or around that ratio? HuffYUV I found was 2.6:1 and I need something a bit better but DivX was too good at 100:1.

      Don't know where you're getting your figures from - at best, DivX compression is 6 2/3 to 1 (15% of original size)...

        That depends on the compression of your source. I'am sure Link is working with an uncompressed source. In which case the numbers he states are quite resonable.
        Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

          To khp

          Of course you're correct. I guess I've spent too many years with .VOBs as a starting point ;>}
