I've been extracting subtitles using SubRip for my DivX movies and i just found during playback a bizarre behavior:
1) If a use the subtitle file extracted from each VOB with its corresponding DivX movie file, only the first subtitle text(taked from VOB VTS_01_1) works during playback, the rest doesn't work with their corresponding files (taken from VOB VTS_01_2, VOB VTS_01_3 and so on)
2) When a subtitle text file doesn't work during playback(considering problem number 1 above), it can cause a movie file to go out of synch (which without displaying its subtitles is in perfect synch)
Which program should i use for extracting subtitles (in text format)
without any of the issues explained before?
I handle VOBs individually for ripping my movies because i found
this method more easy and for my lack of hard drive space.
I'm using Power DivX Next Generation Player, DVD Decrypter and
SubRip 1.14. Please help...
