divx 5.03 why of size with nth pass

Hi!

I have encoded three movies by know with 5.03 and all the time I get at least 15 mb to small of size... this is when I use nth pass I haven't tried regular two pass with a known filesize.
Is it any other calculation (IMO it should be since it the same as two pass but only more passes). Can you plz help me I'm getting tired of reencode the movies.

in my tests i did NOT see any improved preciseness or quality

pass1 was slighlty different in size than 2

but 3, 4 or 5 were most of the time of EQUAL size


i de-intalled 5.0.3 and use 5.0.2 again like i did before.

As I noticed I got a little smaller ringing effect... not much but you could notice it otherwhise is was not much of a difference according to me....
but still... the filesize is more of then it was in 5.02 for me... why might this be?
