Audio Dropping out of sync when fast forwarding and such

For some strange reason, the 3 divx4 dvd rips i have done recently completely lose audio synchronisation if you fast forward them... it is quite irritating, and i think it is something to do with my encoding. can anyone steer me on the right track?

    TIA, Fëanor...

Ok, I'am just gussing wildly here but I suspect that if u upgrade to a tool that supports OpenDML avi (flask0.6 or virtualdub) your problems will go away.

OpenDML avi has added support for audio sync marks afaik. This should eliminate ur problems.

With the movies u have already done, u could try to run them throgh vritualdub with 'direct stream copy' selected for both video and audio.
