5.1 Ogm Is It Worth..??

hello there!
Currently i rip dvds with gknot to make divx + ac3 stream .avi files and they work perfectly!
i was wondering if it is worth making divx + 5.1 ogg (ogm files) instead? do i have any benefits like size reduction, quality etc??

you should be able to reduce file size

i'm not at all sure, though if you will be able to output ogm to spdif!

afaik there's no filter for this task yet.
