Problem with simpledivx

i have made a divx with simpledivx 1.1
when there are scenes in motions appears
black horizontal lines. Someone can give me an hint
to solve this problem?

What you described sounds like interlacing. Use your program's deinterlacing filter (if it has one) at the time of ripping. Otherwise, load the .AVI file into VirtualDub and apply its deinterlacing filter after the fact.
