    divx(with AC3)=>MPEG2 by vdubmod+tmpgenc

    HI
    i hear that virtualdub mod support ac3 frame server.
    is that real?if it's, how to set it?
    i am using virtualdub mod as frame server to tmpgenc for encoding, but still no audio stream.

    Not possible as far as I know mate.
    It will read the ac3 but not frame serve. Afraid I can't be 100%

      Is there any software like vdub/vdubmod and it's certain version which could be used as frame serve in TMPGEnc??

        Why frameserve? With a few adjustments, TMPGEnc natively supports AC3 audiostream.

          how to adjust it??
          The reason why I use vdub/vdubmod as frameserve is that I want to stick permanent subtitles on video.
          any better suggestion on that?? or any subtitle filter for TMPGEnc?
          btw, another problem I found while Divx->MPEG2.
          Is extracting Divx with VBR audio as WAV/MP1 the only way for transcoding to MPEG2??
