    Converting To Gordon Knot, DVX?

i am a long time VirtualDub user.
with divx 5.02, i began using none of VDub's filters and only using divx's crop, resize, and deinterlace filters. this gained me some nice fps, i.e. 8 i think.
if i start using dvx or gordon knot, will i have to use their filters for this stuff without causing trouble to their calculations etc.? thanks in advance.

When using GordianKnot, you will use avisynth filters. This should be faster than using filters in virtualdub, because avisynth does the filtering in yuv mode, whereas virtualdub, needs to convert to RGB mode to do filtering.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

same of course goes for DVX as well only more sophisticated

use the latest avisynth 2.5 and your speed increase will be enormous.
