    converting MPEG To Divx

    I Wonder if you could please assist me.

    I am trying to convert a number of MPEG files into DIVX. I am using VDUB V 1.4.13 Build 14328 and I have sucessfully converted several files.

    However one of my MPEG's gives me an error which states "MPEG Audio Decode Error: Not enough data to decode frame".

    Another File gives me a corrupted frame error. I have also tried FLASK Mpeg on the file but it simply crashes when it reaches the bad frame.

    If anyone could suggest an alternative program or a solution to these problems I would greatly apreciate it.

    Try using TMPGEnc's "MPEGTools" to simply resave the file, as follows:

    TMPGEnc>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut

    1) Load the problem file

    2) Set the mode as appropriate to either MPEG1 or MPEG2 (NOT MPEG1-VideoCD or MPEG2-SuperVideoCD)

    3) Save with a new filename

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      You can use VCDgear to fix Frame error or audio error or MPEG header corrupted ! It's easy to fixed !

      After all MPEG analyse was clear from error, then you can convert it using your vDUB !

        thanks

        I had already tried the vcd gear fix but it failed, but thank you anyway.

        The idea to re encode it as an MPEG worked great.

        Thanks again.
