    Subtitles synchronization with IFOedit

    Hi, everyone

I use IFOedit for authoring and VobEdit for the subtitles rip. The video-audio sync comes out perfectly but the subtitle stream drops completely out of sync. Any suggestions?

    thnx

Small advice – always check for what your subtitles where originally synchronized. I did some checking with Star Trek NG it is working perfect (DVD UK; subtitles Polish). Sometimes you may have problems with parts of the subtitles but then I use i.e. Subedit software (http://alfa.icis.pcz.czest.pl/~subedit) to correct parts of it and adjust them to my video stream.

It will also happen if you have video/audio 25 fps (i.e. Europe) and subtitles 23 or 29 fps (i.e. US movie). I am trying to find a solution for my Twin Peaks - (DVD form China - NTSC 29fps) and Polish subtitles (PAL 25 fps). It is a problem. I noticed that during the subtitle conversion from PAL to NTSC all info about timing is wrong.
