    skipping, not fast forward?

i was wonderin if there was any way you could split a movie up into different sections when making a svcd?

what i mean is that at the minute, when i encode a movie as an svcd, i can only fast forward through the movie and not skip to diffent parts of the it.

is it a matter of selecting something when i burn the svcd or is it more complicated than that.

    cheers for any help.

for me the easiest way to do this was to simply use my avi splitter to cut the movie i was going to burn into svcd into several peices then add the peaces in sequence and that will give you chapters, that way you can use the skip button instead of the fast forward.

is that the only way to do it? seems a bit long winded. is there some kind of software that does it for you?
