Converting TV series DVDs
I recently used "DVDTool" to merge all of the VOBs from one of the new "CSI" DVDs, and when I checked the playback of the single, merged VOB, Episode 1 was in "English" but Episode 2 was in "Spanish".
Is there a way to "merge" the VOBs which will yield a single VOB in just one language?
Each episode (4 per disc, on average) is configured as such:
Episode 1 (VTS_01_1.VOB; VTS_01_2.VOB)
Episode 2 (VTS_02_1.VOB; VTS_02_2.VOB)
Episdoe 3 (VTS_03_1.VOB; VTS_03_2.VOB)
Episode 4 (VTS_04_1.VOB; VTS_04_2.VOB)
I've tried encoding each Episode one-at-a-time with Divx 5 (1-pass) at a bitrate of 175Kbps per episode, in order to get all four episodes to fit onto one CD-R, but it sure leaves a lot to be desired in terms of video quality. I would much rather use my tried-and-true Gordian Knot to encode the entire disc in one-shot.
Any suggestions?
