Can you make a divx movie play on a DVD player?

Hi, I want to know if there is some way to make a Divx movie to play on a Stand Alone DVD Player, which only supports: VCD,SVCD,CD,CD-R,DVD,JPG.

Nope - not without converting it to either VCD or SVCD format. Otherwise, your standalone DVD player would be trumpeting its ability to play .AVIs ;>}
