Problem with Divx 5 and FlaskMPEG

Every time I try to encode a .vob rip into Divx 5.04/03 with FlaskMPEG I get an odd error:
There was an error opening the video codec.
Make sure the video codec selected supports the processing format.

I've redone the settings a dozen time and it still gets that same error. Encoding into divx 4, mpeg or indeo works fine though. FlaskMPEG is the best .vob to AVI program I've run across so far and I don't want to have to dump it over some stupid **** like this, anyone know how to fix this?

I'm running Windows XP Pro, DivX 5.04 (tried .03 but I upgraded to try and fix it) and using FlaskMPEG 078 39.

Have you tried using the older and (yet) reliable DivX 5.02?

I've always had problems with flaskmpeg/xmpeg. Codec problems, program errors you name it. I would suggest using MPEGMediator. Much more stable program I think. The only thing MPEGMediator lacks is more sound option's. It's kinda basic in the sound department but if you have a decent system at home it's sweet!
