    Mpeg4 to DVDR

    Hi there

Few questions for those with indsight

    1. I have an mpeg4 which i want to put onto dvdr,
    how can this be achieved?

    2. Is there a method where you can remove a watermark
from an avi and save it as an avi/mpeg/mpeg2?

    Thank You

    1) Use TMPGEnc to convert to conforming DVD-MPEG2 format

    2) Use TMPGEnc DVD Author (a different program) to create required DVD structure and files

    3) Use NERO to burn DVD

      cheers

slight problem,TmpgEnc will not load my mpeg4,do i need some sort of filter/plugin?

I used Virtualdub to remove watermark then saved it as
an mpeg4 (it suggested i use some sort of compression, hence mpeg4).
If i could save to avi/mpeg/mpeg2 straight from Virtualdub that
would be so much easier,is this possible?
(avi would be my prefered format as i use CCE)

Can you remove watermarks using TmpgEnc?

      Thank You

In order to determine which codec(s) you need for a particular file, you should do the following:

        1) Load the file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

        2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

        3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

It would appear that you have to download and install the DivX v.5.02 (or later) video codec...
