    trouble encoding audio

On one movie i am strugling with encoding the audio for some reason. I use Divx5.02 pro & BeeSweet via Gknot .26b. This makes a mp3 to begin with and later muxes it with the video stream. However this particular rip will not play. The video stream itself plays fine but the muxed movie does not, it seems to just start and then goes into a pause mode with any player i use. It displays a "CREST NATIONAL" emblem to begin with, perhaps this company which seems to be in the business of making DVD's has a new differnet format than other CD manufactureers? Any else heard of this company?

I prefer DIVX 3.11alpha to be honest....but since it is an audio issue:

have u tried extracting the audio in VOB2AUDIO, then downsampling it using WAVELAB or goldwave to 44100Hz then saving it or encoding to MP3 @128KBPS? then joining them?

you tried playing it in WMP? what happens?

try to re installing the MP3 codecs (radium or LAME...prefer radium)
