    Video plays faster than audio...

    ok my file obviously plays faster than it should be going at. The audio is fine for a little bit and then get farther and farther apart as the movie progresses. I looks at the properties of my video and it says the framerate is 29 when it should have been encoded as 23.967 or whatever that number is. Can someone help me...Maybe use virtual dub or something???

    "Maybe use virtual dub or something?"

    Yes.

    1) Load file into VirtualDub (or one of its variants)

    2) Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"

    3) From under the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Framerate"

    4) Select "Change to" "frames per second" and enter "23.976"

    5) Click on "OK"

    6) Save with a new filename

    Let us know of your success ;>}
