Converting XVID to useable MPEG format

Hello, I've got a home video that I've converted to the XVID format, but now I want to put it on to a super vcd. The tmpeg encoder that I use to convert regular Mpegs and .avi files wont work with xvid codec apparently.

Does anybody know how I can put my xvid file on to a disc so I can play it on my dvd player on my television?
    Thanks

if you have an actual XVID codec installed (and you must, since you state that you've converted the video to XVID format) and not just a playback filter, there's no reason it shouldn't be accepted for input by TMPGEnc.

    1) What is the exact wording of the error generated by TMPGEnc, when you attempt to input this file?

    2) What audio format did you use when you created this XVID video?
