Since I have never met this problem I am lacking
knowledge on how to fix it.
maybe it is a good Idea to ask uncas mentioning that you have read his guide and still at a loss!
to do so maybe you should start a new thread including a more
specific problem description in the title like
"crash after first pass??" rather than starting a thread
        with a title "help needed".

        good luck!!!

looks like the divx settings are to blame

post a screenshot or DETAILED description of your settings for first and second pass

                  well it was Successfull :elaugh:....
what i did was in the first pass i did "Original 1 pass", and in the second pass "orignal 2nd pass".....
                  it worked..... but using DVDx........
tell me whats the difference between original passes and multipass... which quality is better? and when experimenting Multipass with Dvdx, it just gives an error to check the codecs after 50%...
