video and sound sync

I have a video file and a sound file i`am trying to join both together using tmpgenc when i play the video the sound is out of sync how can i just the sound to the video correctly ? any help please

Under TMPGEnc's "Advanced" tab, put a checkmark next to, and then doubleclick on "Source Range". In the next window, toward the bottom, you'll see "Audio gap correct". Enter the appropriate number of positive or negative milleseconds (1,000 = 1 second)...

Okay i have found audio gap setting where i can adjust the sync. thks.

When i play film and sound i can not here the audio is this rigth
? it makes it very hard to adjust with no sound .

Any help plz .thks
