Hi folks,
I am a newbie to this forum, but I have read and learnt a lot from all you super people out there. I have a problem that completely stumps me now and would like to elicit some help.
I have a two disc xvid movie with ac3 audio and I was trying to reencode the audio to mp3 as the movie was too long for my writer, and I needed to boost the audio. I did the first cd succesfully, then tried to do the second, but the audio stream seemed to go out of sync, it was late so I went to bed to tackle the problem in a new day - only to discover that the movie would not open in vdub(error:cannot determine filetype) or divx player the following day! Media player only played the audio stream. I always work off a copy of the original file, open the file in vdub mp3, extract audio, convert using BeSweet, adjust volume/bitrate in Goldwave, combine and save in Vdub mp3.
Has anyone any suggestions?
