gknot, vdubmod & divx 5.1

hi, this is my first post in here mainly cause i never had problems before. anyway, in the past, i had been using gordian knot 0.28.5 to encode dvds into divx using divx 5.0.5 and i never had a problem. i just upgraded to gordian knot 0.28.5.3 and divx 5.1. now, whenever i try to perform a compressibility test, the virtualdubmod status window and another fancy divx status window pops up for a few seconds and disappears with an error message that says "Video compression error: An unknown error occurred (may be corrupt data). (error code -100)"

Help. Please, what is wrong now?

make sure to uninstall the old divx codec properly and then reinstall 5.1

Where i can find gknot 0.28.5.3?
Or you mean 0.28.3?
