Thanks StarRide. The video looks fine right now as it is being converted in TMPGEnc.

I'll tell u if the audio works when i'm finished.

    Thanks A lot

The audio Worked Thanks a lot starRide.

Now when you burn it with nero, if the Mpeg is 705 mb, does it matter or does it matter about the time of the video.

I can reduce the bitrate a little to make it smaller.

Have you even tried starting to burn the 705 meg svcd file with an 80 min cd? Did nero complain about not enough space on cd?

Since it is 705 megs, try it and see what happens. If it does complain about not enough space on the CD, yes, lowering the bitrate by a little bit would be the best option.

Can u change the bitrate of the converted mpeg in VirtualModDub or do i have to sonvert the avi again with a lower bitrate.

          And if you could, How?

Good, your instructions didn't even work. U kept leading me in the wrong way.

I would like to thank "StarRide" Who actually "helped" me.

              Thanks StarRide

Can i use Nandub or will i need to encode it again

hmmmmmmmm i have to correct you saying about his instructions that doesn't work; his method was perfectly valid and works, its just that it might of been too complicated or for you to understand. Theres no need to start flaming at him, everyone is just trying to help here...

Anyways, you cannot really change the size of the mpeg by re-encoding the avi in nandub. In fact, initially, it is preferable that you encode the avi file with a very high bitrate or use a lossless codec or use frameserving to minimize the loss of quality between conversions.

If you are making a vcd, you cannot change the bitrate, as the standard for vcd is CBR 1150 kbits/sec, so for any type of clip with same length, you will produce a vcd mpeg of the same size.

If you are making a svcd, you can change the bitrate in TMPGEnc at the Video tab with the option "Rate control mode" and "Bitrate". I'd recommend doing a 2-pass VBR encoding, as this will give you a highest possible encode at a certain file size.

If i am using a regular CD-R i bought from the store. It is 80 min/700 MB and it FugiFilm.

Does it matter about the size of the file or the lenght of it.

Can i burn a SVCD in whcih the file is over 700 MB.

I have just encountered a significant problem about the audio.

The audio is significantly off from the video liek 2 - 3 seconds.

                      How do i fix it
