So far i have been using DrDivX1.0.3 (15-day trial) from www.divx.com and the results were okay, I have seen better.
But I dont have any cash to buy DrDivX
If I want to back up my DVDs (for free
) And basicaly I want the best quality I can get that will fit onto 1 cd (700 MB), 2 cds if its a long film like Lord Of The Rings. What is the best codec, software and method I should use?
I tried a Gordian Knot/DivX 5.0.2 guide i got from this forum, but it didnt work I am still trying to get it to work...
Is Gordian Knot and DivX 5.0.2 the best program/codec i should use for what i want?
And also what is Xvid, should i consider using that codec?
It would be very apreciated if some1 could reply
Thx
Sam
