    Avi-Dvd

Hi PLease could somebody help me.
I have some movies in .AVI And i want to be able to convert them as a DVD format so i can then use my DVDRW to burn them on to dvds.
I have used the TMp software to convert them from AVI into two files an M2v file and a .wav file, however when i try to play the .wav file to make sure it has worked nothing gets played back, the other file however is fine.
Am i doing something wrong?? and if i am go easy on me as i am new to this process.

    1) Load the original .AVI video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
