12 Hours For Dr Divx!!!!!

hi, i have been backin my dvds for along time, and i recently installed mcafee virus scan. and i notcied that when doin long encoding jobs with dr divx, it can be very slow.
before i had the virus scan, it took around 5 hours, but when i disable the virus, and nething running in the back ground, it takes 6 hours to do the first pass and another 6 hours to do the second pass!!! someone plez help!

You could set McAfee Viruscan to monitor only select types of files, as opposed to All Files (which, I believe, is the default settings of the virus scanner).

It might also be good to remember the saying "better safe than sorry" though.
