    DivX 5.0.5 Decoder Properties....

I have been reading up on some of the settings I sometimes ignore and wonder what some of you think about the "best" settings to use....i use that term "best" loosely.

Under the Postprocessing Settings tab I have read here that Film effect is "utterly useless". I have found that to be a majority vote. What about Quality Levels? Sometimes I do a 2 disc conversion sometimes just one. I usually convert to VCD from there. Which setting is nominal? How do u decide the better setting?

Under the Quality Settings tab I disabled Smooth playback as it to is said to be not worth it, and have Yuv Extended Mode checked........don't know why, just do....whats it for? And the only other one I have checked is Disable Logo..........which is self explanatory. So anyone able to help me out with these questions....Thanx!!!

YUV extended mode is meant to make the decoder decode the film faster, and overlay extended mode forces the graphics card to look for a second buffer.
