VIEWING PROBLEM..with divx quality

HI GUYS,

my problem is when i get a divx movie and i try to watch it on a full screen the quality sucks but if i watch is on the 3 inch divx screen it is good. does everyone just watch the divx movies on small divx screen? or is there a program to converty it so i can full screen it.. i have tried tmpgenc.

setting playback filters / postprocessing to the max is what i recommand

with postprocessing ON a decently made file looks excellent; thus it might still be a crappy file you're using?

i was driving at the postprocessing filter within your avi-player

i use ffdshow as playbackfilter and use its postprocessing option.
you will find similar options in divx decoder or xvid

to access this option take a look at your player - somteime rightclicking will lead you to the FILTER OPTIONS

there you should find the decoder like divx, xvid or ffdshow
