Setting the divx 5 codec to Maximum quality

Can anyone tell me how to set the divx codec to maximum quality.

I want my video to look sharp and that uses the maximum quality it can reach.
Is it possible to view it full screen instead of widescreen.

if your source is widscreen, then you cant output it to fullscreen, well i guess you could crop it to get rid of the black bars, then blow it up, but then the picture would be distorted probably at maximum quality too. Reason why is your making it larger then its originally intended format.

The problem is that each time i set my divx movie into fullscreen nothing happens.
I just would like to see the movie into
4:3 728 X 528 instead of my current aspect ratio 16:9.

What can i do.
