SVCD to DivX

Hello!

I want to convert SVCD movies to DivX. Do the same instructions aply as with converting regular VCD movies??

Although I don't know what "rules" you're referring to, chances are they won't work properly for an SVCD-format video. VCD is MPEG1 format, while SVCD is MPEG2 format.

One method you CAN use to convert an SVCD file, already burned to CD, to .AVI is to:

1) Use TMPGEnc as follows:

File>>MPEGTools>>Merge&Cut
Load you file (usually named "AVISEQ01.mpg")
Select a new name for output
Press the "Run" radio button

Then simply load it into Flask for conversion (set, of course, for conversion to .AVI).

Anyway I guess being a begginer, it's not such a big surprise
that something would go wrong =)

I followed the instructions, but a problem arised.
The audio worked, but the video was green..

The problem being..?

Well anyway I found another way to fix the problem by using
Vidomi. Great program.
