    Bad Bad Quality!!!!!!

I have been using the newest version of Gk and newest version of Divx. I have read like every guide on using gk 3 times to make sure i'm just not missing somthing super small. My file size is 704mb and its the worst quality. I have the subtitles in and audio is fine but it just looks like bad. Any ideas on how i should go about fixing it?

I use VBR in the setup for the codec. It worked perfect until now. I got about 16 movies perfectly (almost) quality. Before I used CBR (1200kbit/s), but I could see some big blocks in high motion scenes and black areas.
Remember VBR won't give you a perfect quality but it can help a bit, because it gives a lot of bandwitch. The only thing you have to remember is that you can't controll the size of the movie.
I use Xvid codec and have set quality to 90 and my Xvid's is about 900-1350 with ac3 sound (about 200 less if you use mp3). So if you have to fit the movie on a single cd you have to options:
lower the quality settings in the codec settings
        or split the movie

Hope you can use some of it
