Phillips DVP642 problem with DivX (subtitles)

I just got a Phillips DVP642 DVD player that plays DivX files. When I test it out it works fine playing Divx but there is a smal problem.

Whenever I play a divx movie with subtitles (like anime), the subtitles are cut on the bottom of the screen and most of the time I can't read them. When I watch a DVD with subtitles its fine. Only when viewing a DivX file with subtitles will give me this problem.

Any solutions?

i just bought the Philip's DVP642 and i too am having the same problem while playing anime.

Is like as if the Video is fitted to the tv screen and then made a few couple of inches bigger, so the subtitles are cut in 1/2. if anyone knows how to fix it, please let us know.

I have another problem, the subtitle is too small to read, how do u enlarge it?
