    Jumpy frames on AVI

I just downloaded an .avi film but half-way thru it the frames start to jump and start/stop. I ran it thru VirtualDub thinking this would correct it, but it did not help. I wanted to burn this to DVD but need to fix it first. Can anyone help?

    1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
