    quicktime movie format

    i have a movie in Quicktime format and i've tried to encode it with tmpgenc but it wont, how do i accomplish this.

    Download and install the Quicktime plugin for TMPGEnc...

      ok, i installed it in the folder but still wont convert all mpeg4 videos, is there anyhing else u could suggest

        Does the movie in question have a .MOV extension or is it a Divx file? Explain exactly in detail the procedure that you have used in TMPGEnc thus far.

          yes indeed it does have a .MOV extension
          what i do is go to the file i try to encode, the ones i cant usually have a quicktime icon next to their name, those are the ones that won't encode.

            Then the "Quicktime plugin" for TMPGEnc should work. Are you sure that you installed it correctly?

              i put it in the tmpgenc foldre, there are other folders in there, namingly, help, cache, and template

                oh, no worries, i had to go to environmental settings and change the quicktime reader to the highest priority, ^_^ thx.
