OGM with broken video

i just got an ogm video file with 2 audio streams... I tried to open the file so as to make the second audio stream the default one, but virtualdubmod warned me about errors in the video stream... the report reads

all other streams are fine... i tried to save the file with Direct Stream Copy value but vdubmod throws an out of bound exception at near the half of the file... in fact, all operations on that area of the video hang vdubmod.

Does anyone know how I can fix the video stream? I browsed the software section in divx-digest but all utilities are for .AVI files, not .OGM

(btw, the file does play normally on media player, it only hangs when trying to edit it)

try extracting (i.e. DEMUXING) the avi
maybe you'll be bale to repair it

err... how do you do that?

virtualdubmod can demux everything but the video stream out of the ogm. Is there another program for this task?
