Planet of the apes, 30mins missing

I have been using FlaskMPG for sometime and I have successfully encoded several dvd's.

Yesterday I tried to convert Planet of the apes but something strange has happened. When I open the ifo file the slide video bar once moved to the end it does not display the ending letters of the movie, instead it stops about 30 mins before the end. So it looks as the vob files are incomplete.

If I press the play the movie carries on playing normaly even though the slider does not move (it's in the end)

When I encode the movie, only 1hr and 30mins will encode, I miss the rest of the film.

Anyone knows anything about this problem????

Have you made sure that Flask is compiling the whole of the movie, instead of a pre-specified time, as set in the Global Project Options?

POTA spec ed is indeed a bitch to rip. I had the exact same problem, when trying to do the r1 version. The vobs seem to have several streams, the picture within picture feature being the problem. The Goonies r4 does the same thing as well. The fix was to use a program called Vob to Vob (available here at divx digest i think) and 'analyse' each vob seperately and choose the actual movie stream and re-write each vob to a completely new file, cutting out all the PiP crap. So at the end of the process you should have 5 or 6 new vobs free of PiP and they *should* continue to the end of the credits. Just make sure you choose the largest file size in each vob (that being the movie) before writing a new version. The next problem is, loading the IFo into flask, seeing that the vobs are changed, it may not recognise this and continue doing what it was doing before. I fixed this by not using flask, but DVD:Reaper, where ifo's aren't needed. If you can't find
DVD:Reaper on Ciler's site let me know and i'll email it.
