    Divx audio Sync problems

I have tried four DVD's now using Smart Ripper to extract the .ifo and .vob files then using Flask to encode the movie. I've followed all the settings correctly using 128 big 44khz stereo mode audio, etc. Unfortunately on each DVD I've tried (Shanghai Noon, Family Man, Fast and the Furious, and now The While 9 Yards) the audio is 3 to 4 seconds off from the get go... No comprende essay!! Thank you for your help.

When you multiplex your audio and video together, you need to adjust the audio skew. If you're using VirtualDub, it will be under the interleave option in the audio menu. If it's 3 seconds off, you need to set the skew to 3000 ms.

You also might have stretched audio. Check out this guide:

      Good luck

        If you are using Flask...

While converting Region 1 NTSC DVD's you'll probably have audio synch problems if you don't use 23 fps. Using 29 fps causes audio synch problems in Flask MPEG conversions.

Also you can find the way to synch your Divx movies which has this problem with downloading the AVI Info software from the Nicky Pages Digital Solutions which you can find the link to it in www.divx-digest.com-Articles.
