Lpcm Audio??????????????!

When I tried to convert a certain movie with flask mpeg or xmpeg when I selected the audio it wasn't ac3 audio but LCPM audio!!!
I thought it would be ok but...
At the audio section of the above programs I haven't any options except from "Don't process audio".
I tried to extract the audio with another program: Vstrip.
Again it starts the procession but when it finishes no audio file can be found anywhere in my Hard Disk.
Can anyone give me a solution?

The following are the responses of other posters to similar questions:

"Using DVD2AVI, instead of converting to AVI, just select Save Project. This Maps the VOB's and Extracts the Audio, leaving u with two files. Them just loan each into TMPG and load the Template u want and let it go for it."

"dvd2avi => audio => track number of your choice => decode
next: save project this will create a wav or ac3 sound stream"
