When I convert from Divx to Mpeg using TMPGEnc the size increase from 698mb to 1600mb and the sound disapear.
The film length is 55min What do I do wrong?
The DivX --> MPEG conversion will indeed result in filesize being blown up that way.
As for the missing audio, did TMPGEnc open the audio file in the avi properly? Or did you change a setting that caused the audio to be left unprocessed?
I'm not that into VCDs anyway, but anyway, here we go...
Normally, you won't be able to fit more than what a VCD can fit (ie. You can't fit any extra one minute or even more when the disc is already full).
Once, I saw a setting in TMPGEnc that enables you to lower the bitrate of the resultant MPEG and hence enabling you to fit more. However, I'm not too sure whether this is allowed or if you will be able to burn the resultant file into VCD. Just have a try and see how it goes.
