    Family Guy Copy

    hi;

    I'm having problems trying to copy the UK Family Guy Season 1 boxset. I've used Smartripper to copy each individual episode (each with 5 chapters) to seperate directories (because the files tried to overwrite eachother when they went to the same directory). I'm now trying to use FlaskMpeg to encode each episode seperately, but I've found that the picture moves far faster than the sound, and by the end of the 22minute show, the picture has long finished and the sound is still running. I'm using the Fast Movement Divx 4 codec and the Divx sound codec at 96kbs.

    Could anyone suggest as to why this isn't working?

    cheers

    Did you change the framerate of either the video or the audio?

      "Divx sound codec at 96kbs."

      The DivX 3.11 sound codec (a ripoff of WMA) is not very accurate regarding timing - it actually requires an interleave of 500 milleseconds rather than every frame. Unless you are able to adjust this interleave setting before converting, I'd suggest that you instead use .MP3. If you don't yet have it installed, download and install the Radium MP3 codec.
