    Audio Problems

I am making a backup of a movie. I am using DrDivX to make the backup. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but my sound is all messed up. Sometimes I get sound, sometimes I don't. And when I do, sometimes I just get the sound effects and no voices and vice versa. Other times the timing is really off. Kinda like the old movies (i.e. Godzilla) I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Am I missing a setting somewhere. For my process I use DVD Decrypter, DVDShring and DrDivx. Any help would be much appreciated.

Although I'm quite familiar with DVD Decrypter and DVDShrink, I'm not personally familiar with the proper usage of Dr.Divx (primarily because I've lways use dthe excellent freeware that's available for conversion from DVDs to DivX-compressed .AVIs). However, what you've described sounds like a situation where you've selected the incorrect audiostream for processing.

Just curious, what DVD title are you trying to convert? (Is it, by any chance, "The Day After Tomorrow" which, if I remember correctly, has available a sound effects-only audiostream?)

It was the audiostream. No to Day after Tommorow.

      Thanks
