xvid problem :S??

hi ... i have some problems when i start a xvid movie i dont know why? .. i've downloaded all codecs ( i think?) but same..
when movie starts the picture is bad .. the color is like with too contrast .. everywhere is Red color dominant. :
p.s. sorry for my bad english .. and if i have posted this thread in wrong place sorry for that too :S

can you post a screen shot of the file info from virtualdubmod(freeware)?

You may have to many codec installed. Delete/uninstall all codec except the XviD codec.

hi and thnx for your help but i edited that post becouse the screenshot i have uploaded wasnt black but when i uploaded it to a server it converted it to PNG but picture was BMP ..
when i try to convert to another format the screenshot got Black .


P.s i uninstaled all of them and did same as you said now but the same :s thing again ..

(wotw.tc.xvid.cd1.avi) .. now i don't know is it xvid or avi .. when i instal divx codecs it says you need xvid codec .. when i instal one of xvid codec that's the screen that i got ) ( check the url with screenshot in zip) :S

but as i said i have bought the movie .. i live in Kosova(yugoslavia) if you don't know there was a War 5 years ago . so it's still a big mess her and i don't think we can find original movies .. and all movies,softwares everything .. that we have i think that they are pirated .. but anyway .
i've bought the CD and not download it from nowhere
but again thank you ..

you could try running the avi thru Virtualdub and using one of the filters to adjust the contrast, hue saturation etc.
